Last Wednesday, I was offered free tickets to see Fleetwood Mac at the Energy Solutions Center in Salt Lake. Of course, I couldn't pass on free tickets!! One of my friends that I work out with, Shelly was able to get tickets through her husband, Marty's work. I rode with Kaylynne and we met up with our workout instructor, Bobbie and her date so there was a total of 6 people with us.
It was a great concert!! There's nothing like listening to live music!! Fleetwood Mac has been around for over 40 years. All of the original members were there except for one. Mick Fleetwood, Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks and John McVie were all there. Only Christine McVie wasn't there as she has retired from touring.
They don't have a new album being released so they played all their old favorites. Actually, they are going to be releasing a new greatest hits cd.

They played for 2 1/2 hours straight with no intermission and no opening act. Not bad for a bunch of 60 year olds!! Mick Fleetwood played drums and wow, what talent!! He just kept playing with so much energy!! Lindsey Buckingham was just amazing on the guitar!! I don't think I've seen anyone who was that quick with their fingers on the guitar!! Wow!! The picture I've included of him is with his red guitar. That thing was loud!! Stevie Nicks had her tamborine and her awesome voice. Her voice is still the same as it has always been. John McPhie played the bass guitar.
All I can say is wow!! What an awesome concert!! It was great to see music legends in person!! I would highly recommend going to see them. You definately would get your moneys worth!!
